Householder planning consent

The Householder Application should be used for proposals to alter or enlarge a single house, including works within the curtilage (boundary/garden) of a house. Common examples of when you need to make a Householder Application for Planning Permission include extensions, conservatories, loft conversions, dormer windows, alterations, garages, car ports or outbuildings, swimming pools, walls, fences, vehicular access including footway crossovers, porches and satellite dishes.

Householder Planning Consent Application

Householder planning consent includes:

  • Accept brief and review client requirements
  • Visit site undertake a dimensional survey
  • Undertake a photographic survey
  • Our Planning Consultant reviews the Planning context and local, regional and national policy
  • Digital Site Plan/Ordnance Survey (OS) Map
  • Prepare CAD Planning Drawings (Existing):
    Front and/or Rear Elevation as required
    Side Elevation
    Floor Plan
    Roof Plan
  • Prepare design scheme for discussion and approval from client
    Prepare CAD Planning Drawings (Proposed):
    Front and/or Rear Elevation as required
    Side Elevation
    Floor Plan
    Roof Plan
  • Assist with appointment of and liaise with specialists if required eg: Traffic, Noise Consultants
  • Submission to client of final householder consent application in draft for approval
  • Online submission of Householder Planning Consent
  • Monitor progress of Application and report to client
  • Issue a copy of the planning decision
  • Report on any planning conditions and/or reasons
