Planning Statements

A statement is a document that a planning consultant can prepare for submission as part of your planning application.

The statement is used to summarise and explain how the planning application addresses key issues, such as housing mix, space standards and highways and transportation. Where input is provided from specialist consultants and engineers to respond to particular matters, (eg. affordable housing, daylighting, ecology, archaeology or contamination), the statement can explain the meaning and relevance of the technical input.
