Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea

 Porches In Cranley Place

Planning and conservation areas in Kensington and Chelsea

Seventy per cent of the Royal Borough is designated to be within conservation areas. Such areas are deemed to be of historical or architectural importance. Gaining planning permission for construction and development in such locations can therefore be a more complex issue. Planning permission can be refused for a variety of reasons. However the team at Get Planning has had a high level of success at winning appeals where planning permission has initially been refused by the local planning authority. Conservation areas in Kensington and Chelsea are as follows:

Billings Kensington Court
The Boltons Kensington Palace
Brompton Kensington Square
Brompton Cemetery Ladbroke
Chelsea Lexham Gardens
Chelsea Park/Carlyle Nevern Square
Cheyne Philbeach
Courtfield Norland
Cornwall Oxford Gardens
De Vere Pembridge
Earls Court Square Queen's Gate
Earls Court Village Royal Hospital
Edwardes Square/Scarsdale and Abingdon Sloane Square
Hans Town Sloane/Stanley
Holland Park Thames
Kensal Green Cemetery Thurloe Estate
Kensington Smith's Charity
