In 1965 Hornsey, Wood Green and Tottenham, 3 districts of Middlesex, were amalgamated to form the London Borough of Haringey.
In the 19th century a great deal of development took place including the construction of Alexandra Palace built primarily for public entertainment. However 7 days after it opened in 1873 it was burnt down. It was not rebuilt until over a century later and opened in 1975. It is now fondly known as Ally Pally. More recent developments in Haringey include the transformation of Tottenham Green in 2013/14.
Get Planning and Architecture has completed projects in this Borough, large and small, in the residential, commercial and retail sectors and has an excellent knowledge of the Borough and its architecture.
