On 1st July 2014, Surrey Heath Borough Council set out their vision for the regeneration of Camberley – Surrey Heath’s largest town. The £310million project will involve transforming some of the town centre’s main spaces and streets, including the High Street and the London Road Block, and large improvements to infrastructure, including changes to the M3 between junctions 2 and 4A. The council had submitted planning applications for the project in 2015. If agreed, the work was estimated to be finished by 2018.
